Well it’s been a close competition and one I’ve not managed to rate a mention in, but the caribbean bingo cruise has finally been won – by a BingoBeez player no less! Every summer I say the same thing: it gets hotter every year. I don’t know whether it’s because I am carrying a few extra pounds or not, but I do know that I’m spending more time under the a/c than out in the heat! And why not? Even before today started I knew it was going to be a happy day! My kids are even smiling – at the same time!

Father’s Day

I can’t believe how quickly Father’s Day sneaks up on us each year, though it doesn’t help that the UK have Father’s Day in June and Australia and other countries celebrate it in September! I wonder why that is.

Regardless, it is nice to take some time out to acknowledge that special person who thinks he is head of the family and there are some really funny jokes circulating about some fathers’ positions in the family (ie 2nd to mom!) – but all in good fun.
